Expanding on the beers that gave them their name, Fulton Brewery started aging their signature brews in whisky, wine, and cognac barrels. I was asked to design a system for the bottle labels for this new take on some of their classic beers.
In Fulton’s taproom, their team works with a brew list that rotates based on whats available, whats new, specials, etc. It might be a new menu several times a week, and their staff needed to be able to quickly change out menu items, both on their handheld menus and behind the bar.
With Fulton being a block away from the Twins at Target Field (and often a stop on the way to a game), I took some inspiration from old baseball scoreboards, and worked with their team to design a system that would let staff easily change out menu items as well as templates to create new items with consistency.
